Born and raised in Korea, the author moved to Hong Kong in 1979, raising her two daughters with her husband while working in an international school as a Korean language teacher. Since 2010, she has been living in Jeju, Korea, spending her time writing and teaching.
1976 - graduated from Sogang University (Seoul, Korea) with a major in English & English Literature and a minor in Educational Psychology.
1976 - earned her Teaching Certificate for English in Korea
1994~1996 - worked as a teacher of the Korean language for foreigners (adults) in Hong Kong
1995~2001 - worked as a Korean Language Teacher teaching foreign students at Saturday School in Korean International School.
1994~2005 - Korean Language Teacher in the English Section of Korean International School, Hong Kong
